Front wheel speed sensors are located on the wheel bearing assemblies. I believe there is one bolt holding the sensor in. Make sure the area near and around the sensor is clean, if you knock any dirt dust into the open sensor shaft it will go directly into your wheel bearing, causing more issues. Pull sensor out firmly and straight. Do no pry sensor out with anything, as you will bust sensor off in shaft. Do not attempt to remove the stainless shim, as it is permanently fixed to the assembly. Clean the area if needed, then insert the new sensor carefully. Again, remember to not get dirt inside of the wheel bearing assembly, or you will be replacing the entire assembly soon enough.
There is a vehicle speed sensor (VSS) and 4 ABS wheel speed sensors, one at each wheel.
Please be more definitive and let our technical people give you a hand with this at our forum. Is it the speedometer you are having problems with or a wheel speed sensor? Do you have a specific trouble code you can tell us? www.trailvoy.com Trailblazer enthusiasts forum
The speed sensor is located inside the Wheel Bearing Assembly, and cannot be replaced separate from the Wheel Bearing Assy.
Probably the wheel speed sensor. Check the connector. If connection is good then the sensor may have been damaged or it has failed.
Need to know if you are asking about the vehicle speed sensor, a front wheel speed sensor or rear wheel speed sensor.
Come to our forum and ask there. I do not know about a steering wheel position sensor. www.trailvoy.com
It is inside the wheel hub. The whole wheel hub has to be replaced.. its sucks but if you know how to work on cars its not much harder to replace then a brake job..
There are two speed sensors on the front of the transmission and one abs wheel speed sensor at each wheel bearing. There are two speed sensors on the front of the transmission and one abs wheel speed sensor at each wheel bearing.
Chances are its a wheel speed sensor and will need the wheel bearing replaced. or it can be a loose or corroded wire attached to the sensor as well.
Wheel speed or ABS sensor's are located on the suspension Knuckle Front and Rear.
Bad wheel speed sensor or cluster needs replaced
The vehicle speed sensor is the sensor on top of the rear axle. If the vehicle has 4 wheel ABS then there will be a speed sensor on each front wheel.
