To remove the front bumper on a 1996 Lincoln MK VIII, start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for safety. Next, remove the screws and bolts securing the bumper to the fenders, typically found in the wheel wells and under the front of the car. After that, detach any clips or fasteners, and carefully pull the bumper away from the vehicle. Make sure to check for any electrical connections for fog lights or sensors before fully removing the bumper.
