How do you reset the oil change required light on a 2007 explorer after the oil has been changed?
It depends on the type of system you have and what year.
2006 with Reset/Trip stick/button just below speedo,
Start with key "ON" with engine "OFF"
Press the reset stick several times until it says press Reset to enter Menu mode.
Screen will say press reset to enter System Check, press the reset stick twice again and the oil life will be displayed, press reset again and it will say Hold Reset if you would like to Reset. Press and hold reset stick until the oil life says 100% then turn key off.
The instructions are the same with the 3 button type system also just press the Setup button and the Reset button.
