outside temp and humidity doesn't display, just put in new batteries on both station and remote How to reset
my outside temp diplay is inop
The outside temp sensor is located on the passenger side of grille by radiator
It should reset right away.
REPLACE THE OUTSIDE SENSOR.THE OUTSIDE TEMP. SHOULD SHOW ALL THE TIME,INSIDE ONLY WHEN INSIDE CONTROLE IS MOVED..........
I doubt if it can be reset. Probably a sensor fault if it is reading incorrectly.
I have a 2003 and I display the temp when I press the trip button on the steering wheel until it comes up on the dash display where your speed, trips, fuel consumption etc are displayed. Kepp pushing the button-- it will appear
NO it does not. And press both buttons on the overhead display at the same time to reset. Do this when the "Fuel used" is displayed
To reset the outside temperature control on a 2006 Cadillac DTS, start by turning the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Next, press and hold the "Trip" and "Reset" buttons on the dashboard until the display resets. If the problem persists, disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes can also help reset the system. Always consult your owner's manual for specific instructions related to your vehicle model.
It is behind the front bumper, in front of the radiator.
If the system is functioning, it should display a near value. Sometimes in summer, a higher value may be shown if the car has been sitting in the sun and is hot to the touch. Parking a car in a heated garage in the winter can make for high readings for a while until everything cools down to the outside temp.
owners handbook should tell you how to reset the temp sender
