It should be in the manual. I have an Acura and this is what I had to do. Have your car in the garage, unplug the garage door opener. Hold the button in your car until it blinks fast that resets everything. Once is does hold down the button you want use to open the garage. Plug the garage door opener back in and the bottom should work. It took a few seconds after I plugged it in to work. Hope it works for you...
