To set the timing in the distributor of a 1992 Geo Tracker, first, ensure the engine is at TDC (top dead center) on the compression stroke for cylinder one. Then, loosen the distributor hold-down bolt to allow for adjustment. Rotate the distributor until the timing mark aligns with the specified timing degree on the engine's timing scale, and then tighten the bolt. Finally, recheck the timing with a timing light to ensure it’s set correctly.

To set the clock on a 1999 Chevy Tracker, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Press and hold the "HR" (hour) button until the hour display starts blinking, then use the "HR" button to set the hour. Press the "MIN" (minute) button to adjust the minutes, and once set, press the "MIN" button again to save the time. Finally, turn off the ignition to exit the clock setting mode.
