I am wondering for the same thing. I spent about 2 hours in the Backstreet trying to figure it out. There are 2 hooks at the bottom, but whenever I tried to reach them I just don't have enough power to unhook it. I might be moving it on the wrong direction.
in the trunk or under your back seat
There's a black cord inside the trunk on the top left.
Probably. I think that all the Sunfires had the split folding rear seatback. But don't quote me!
If the passenger seat to a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire is stuck forward, it's important to look for any interference between the track and rail. It is possible that when the seat moved forward the seat moved over the head of the mounting bolt.?æ
beside the drivers seat...on the floor
The control module is located under the passenger seat.
Look to the left side of the driver's seat on the floor. There should be a lever between the seat and the door sill.
I assume you are referring to the rear seat. Open the trunk, look up toward the upper front of the trunk and you will see two black straps hanging down from below the rear window. Pull on them and it will releast the seat to fold down. There is a separate release for each side of the seat.
* Unlatch the rear seat back and tilt forward * Unhook the outer side belt retractor from the rear seat back * Remove the spacer from the right key pin * Slide the seat back to the right and disengage the left key pin from the left key slot * Slide the seat back to the left and disengage the right key slot from the right key slot * Remove the seat back * Press the seat cushion retainer to the rear with a screwdriver * Lift the seat cushion up and remove it
I believe that almost all infant car seats will fit almost any car - they're made to sit in the back seat, using the rear seat belts anchors. As long as your car has a rear seating area, almost any car seat will fit.
The 2005 Pontiac Vibe is comfortable to ride in and the back seat is roomy. There is a good storage area and the gas mileage is good. Also, there are power locks, OnStar, leather seats and side curtain airbags.
