it depends if u are using the stock stereo then no but if it is not a stock stereo then u may have an aux input jack which comes out the back of the stereo the easiest way is to just pull out the stereo and take a look

I have a 1997 cavalier. If it is the same and I think they are. The best thing to do is go to Wal-mart and get the installation kit. Inside the kit are directions on how to get the old stereo out. Because you have to take the dash off to get to some of the screws. It sounds rough but really it is easy.
pull it out and disconnect the harness. put a new harness on so when you sell it you can out your stock radio back in.
without removing the stereo you are limited to a cassette adapter or a wireless FM modulator. both will have very low/crappy sound quality. the next step up is a wired FM modulator.. you will have to intercept the antennae connection for this.. best place is behind the stereo but you can also get to it at the antennae itself.
