There are small bolts all the way around the oil pan, Remove all of them except for one on each corner. You will remove these last, to make it easier to drop the pan.
Do whatever you need to do?
Before reinstalling you will have to scrape all the old pan gasket off with a putty knife or similar tool. Be sure to remove all the old gasket or it will not seal back properly.
"Optional" Spread high temperature gasket sealer lightly but uni formally on new gasket.
Replace oil pan tightening all bolts by hand.
Tightening the bolts a little bit with socket wrench all the way around. Repeat until all bolts are tight. USE CAUTION AND DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE BOLTS, THEY ARE VERY EASY TO SNAP.
Refill with oil.
Check or leaks and your done.
Good Luck
