To remove the spare tire from under a 1994 GMC Sonoma, first locate the tire winch access hole, usually found in the rear of the vehicle bed. Use the provided crank tool to lower the tire by inserting it into the access hole and turning it counterclockwise until the tire is fully lowered to the ground. Once the tire is lowered, detach it from the winch mechanism and carefully pull it out from under the bed. Make sure to secure the tool and any components back in their place after removal.
