The 4 speed will have a solenoid pack ( it probably has a cover on it with a wiring harness going to it ) on the front side ( in car ). The 3 speed will not have this. A easier way is to just look at the gear indicator. PRND3L = 4 Speed PRND21 = 3 Speed
NO THEY ARE NOT.
maybe
Yes, the engine will pull right out without removing the trans.
i think you can replace the seal by removing the rubber shift boot
There is a problem with the valve body in the automatic transmission. It may stay like that, or it may get worse - no accurate prediction can be done without pulling the transmission apart to see what the cause is.
No way, one are the other has to be taken out to repair.
'95 dodge caravan tranny has blown and need to remove circulation pump with tourque converter to transfer to '94 tranny, but can't get pump out of '95. How do i remove tranny circulation pump without damaging it?
YES
if is manual transmission you can, by pushing the car down a hill and suddenly pulling the clutch while the car is on 2nd gear
yes, remove the driver side tire, then unbolt the tranny from the morot and pull it out the bottom. (best way without taking the motor out.)
No. The flex plate is on the transmission input shaft between engine and transmission. To get it out you have to pull the transmission. Fortunately, it's not hard to do.
About 12 quarts, but you won't get that much out without pulling the tranny and dumping the converter, For a normal oil change in the tranny you will use about 6 or 7 quarts.
