Need to remove the oil sending unit that is on the back top right side of the engine and screew a oil pressure gauge in it's place, Then start engine and read oil pressure.

It should read no less then 6 PSI. at 1000 RPms.

At least 18 PSI at 2000 RPMs. more is okay too.

At least 24 PSI. at 4000 RPMs. more is okay too.

What is the normal oil pressure of a 6.0 Chevy?

The normal oil pressure for a 6.0L Chevy engine typically ranges from 30 to 60 psi when the engine is at operating temperature. At idle, it may be lower, around 10 to 20 psi, but should increase with RPMs. It's important to monitor the oil pressure, as significantly lower or higher readings can indicate potential engine issues. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific guidelines.
