i own a 2004 Ford Ranger the engine is a all synthetic coolant and oil for starters read ur Ford manual an make sure ur using the rite oil . When u stop to get gas get mid grade preferance or hi test engine runs better this way. Secret to power is in the manifold an exhuast mine come off each side of the 3.0 v6 engine into a stage 2 flowmaster then run off into duals , i also forgot to say i used the k an n air filter . dyno test showed 200 hp
