If it has the factory tow package there is a blue plug under the left side of the dash. It should be all the way to the left up against the firewall. If the blue plug is there the dealer can sell you the matching plug if you do not have it. If the plug is not there, you will have to run your own wires to the rear.
Assuming you're talking about a brake control valve, there is no wiring...
It is the four wire item on the back of the throttle body.
the tn/rd wire is a power feed the dg wire feeds the trailer brakes. the wt/tn wire is the brake switch input. the bk wire is ground
is ths for the trailer brake control? if so it's a heavy blue wire under the dassh on the drivers side of the truck. it will be a lite blue and about a 10ga. or 1/8in wire.

You need 60 feet of 10 gauge wire in two colours. Blue and black preferred. Two automotive 30 amp breakers.Auto motive crimp connectors for 10 gauge wire to:Connect from positive battery terminal or equivalent under hood battery supplyConnect to and from breakersconnect to brake control wires under dashtap into brake light switchconnect to a good groundScrews to attach breakers to fender or equivalent under hood power supplyRun 1 black lead from battery supply to breakers. From breakers run 1 blue and one black to under dash.Black wire continues though car to rear bumper plug. This connects inside 7 way plug to Black or battery connection.Blue wire connects to battery wire on brake control. Then also connects to brake output wire on the controller then runs with black to back bumper. It connects to blue or brake connection. The brake control will need to be grounded to a good ground under dash. The brake control will have a wire that will need to be connected to the wire that feeds the brake light bulbs at the brake light switch. Use a Meter to figure out what one it is. A test light may burn out something expensive. Finally the 7 way plug on the back must be connected to ground (white or ground terminal) to ground with a 10 gauge wire.I would recommend for signal lights etc on the trailer you get a "HOPPY" or other "tap" kit to patch into the taillight wiring.I, as a guy that does this regularly, can do the whole thing in 3 hrs or so.First timer allow 8 hrs.
Answerhave you cheked there respective relays and fuses? If so there could possibly be a bad ground or a loose ground wire causing this to happen 2nd opinion: Now let me get this straight. We are talkin' bout the REAR brake lights, as opposed to the FRONT brake lights. LOL
Possibly for the optional Cruise control.
how do i wire my brake lights on my Honda 1000
The parking brake wire is located under the center console. Around the parking brake there is a wire that routes to handbreak, it is normally green.
Yes if the wire is part of the brake lamp switch
