your looken at oround 4 thousand to do so, your better off trading your blazer off and getting a 4 wheel drive.
ALL u would have 2 do is buy a Transmission or extension housing A intermediate housing A Transfer Case A shifter assembly A complete Front Axle & front drive shaft A New or have another rear drive shaft made.a Vaccume switch & assembly if a NEW axle is used.New springs & mounts 4 the Front axle.OR buy one already 4 wheel drive.:->
Take the blazer to a local autozone to have the battery tested for FREE! but the blazer would not start if it sat for a couple days or so. also it would start hard, but once it started it would run fine.
a full size blazer top weighes about 250 to 300 lbs

Sounds to me like your Vacum booster behind the master cylinder is weak or bad!

no it not hard it should be the pulley the fan is bolted to. I changed mine a couple of weeks ago

the s series blazers do not have removable hard tops. it is only the k5 blazers/ jimmys that have them
the fullsize has a small block Chevy V8 its firing order is 18436572 On my 93 blazer it has a point sticking out of the timing cover on drivers side its hard to see the crank has 2 marks i set mine on the 2nd one it works fine
