it depends if you have a ball joint presser. i would say about an hour
Take it pto a Dealer!
Typically, an experienced technician will take 2 to 3 hours to replace the ball joints. Alignment will take an hour and transmission flush will take less than an hour.
you take off the tire and then take off the brake rotor and calipers and the the spendle and need a ball joint remover , rent from auto zone and then press out ball joints and then press in new ball joints and reassymble!
take old ones out... put new ones in
Half an hour
The ball joints on a gm vehicle are not a "do-it-yourselfer" type of job. some ball joints need to be removed by grinding the studs off and using an air impact hammer to drive the studs out.. other ball joints can be removed with wrenches. my recommendation to you, would be to take your vehichle to your local gm dealer. Have the service department inspect the vehichle, and give you an estimate on the needed repairs.
30 mins to 1 hour
you will need a special tool for pressing the ball joints out.you can buy or rent the tools at a few auto parts stores. if it's your first time it will take awhile get a repair manual and be patient.
This is fairly labor intense and can be somewhat dangerous. Pick up a Chilton's for the info and safety measures to take.
first you take it in then pay them to do them for you!!!!!!!!!!
No u anit got take the balljoints out.
depends on where you take it. it is time consuming because of the amount of removal to get to the ball joints. pay attention to hourly rates, that's where you'll save the money.
