Thay are not inside the intake. They are UNDERNEITH the INTAKE. It has 2 sensors and you can not see are get to them until you remove the intake.
The MAP sensor monitors the Manifold (Intake) Absolute Pressure, or the pressure inside the intake manifold to make sure the computer is mixing the right amount of air / fuel mixture for the best combustion combination.
According to Chilton's, on a V6 you can, but with the V8 you have to take off the intake manifold and get inside...

The knock sensor on that vehicle is located under the intake manifold. The intake manifold must be removed to gain access to the knock sensor.

This is the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. It is located on the top of the motor between the fire wall and the intake manifold case.

If you look at your throttle body where your air intake comes in to the intake manifold, and about an inch or two above it is a sensor with a wire going from it. That is your manifold absolute pressure sensor.
They (2ea.)are in the intake. The intake manifold will need to be removed to get to them. The wire harness and intake manifold gasket should both be replaced when reassembling.
