I have 142k on my 2001 Aurora.
Engine is still pretty strong with the exception of burning a bit more oil and slight loss of power with the occasional compulsion to require two or three tries to start the car every couple of weeks.
Unfortunately the same can't be said for the rest of the car.
Poor shifting transmission that was rebuilt 2 or 3 years ago, leaking sunroof, leaking heater core, leaking AC unit, finicky Power Steering unit, busted center console lid, cracked and deteriorating driver side door vinyl, mysterious and constant check engine light, check gas cap light, crazy acting fuel gauge.
I think that's about it. The body looks like it just rolled off the showroom however.
hold the engine reset button in until it resets
The Oldsmobile Aurora did not come out until 1995. So you must be confused about the year or the model.
Generally speaking 10w-30, but in winter time in areas where temp drops below freezing 5w- 30 can be used until temp comes back up.
Oldsmobile was a brand name used my General Motors until April 29, 2004.
In East Aurora, until 1830, then he settled in Buffalo.
ESL is not a term i am familiar with, and i have worked for Oldsmobile since 1991 until they went out of business in the early 2000's.- techJK -------------------------------------------

When you turn the ignition u will hear a clicking noise,an my take 3 or 4 tries until the engine starts or your aurora could loose power an may need to be jumped off. -Jake of Texas owner of an 95 aurora
usually not until around 200,000 miles, but it just depends on the vehicle and how it's driven
