More than likely it has jumped time. This is a comman problem with older timing belts. Or in colder weather.
haha i asked this question and i can answer it now. I finally got my truck on the road !!
bad crank shaft position sensor
i called the ford dealership they recominded that u not do it yoursealf unless you had a full shop worth of equipment i have a 93 ford ranger 2.3L 5speed and i had it done by a local mechanic for 300 i bout the parts myself it was worth it..
On my 1993 Ranger, 2.3L, it is a bolt between the two front wheels underneth the engine. Should be pretty easy to spot. The oil filter is on the drivers side of the engine, towards the bottom. Also easy to spot.
