I have a 2001 Astro van and after the Transmission was changedthe Oil dipstick tube would not stay in the hole in the block...which resulted in a on the road to florida ))**))put in 4 quarts / take out 4 quarts oil fill..I have set it in three times myself and retighted the holder at the top by the Tranny dipstick'and the oil change guys Hate to see the VanI would guess it has to be taken out and the bottom of the tube checked and reattached oryou may have to do some shadetree mechanic adaption of the original design..
