A Saturn SL -- and every S-series Saturn -- has a 1.9 liter 4 cylinder engine. The SC2, SL2, and SW2 have a DOHC (dual overhead cam) engine; the SC1, SL, SL1, and SW1 have a SOHC (single overhead cam) engine.
Just to clarify — the 1995 Saturn SL has a fuel tank capacity of approximately 12.8 gallons (48.5 liters). There wasn’t an “LS” model in Saturn’s 1995 lineup, so it's likely the question refers to the SL or SL1/SL2. Hope that helps! ⛽
