It depends, look on Craigslist or ebay. Without a motor or transmission it can cost about 2k. With a running engine and transmission and lots of rust, about 5-7k. In great condition 7-12k. In mint condition, 20k+.

Not around here they don't, I just sold my 1966 mustang (somewhat running 6cyl engine and transmission) moderate rust for $1750, if I asked 5-7k for it, people would think I'm crazy! For 5-7k, I'd expect a mechanically sound car with a 289 v8 that was generally clean with low rust, but could have some rough edges in finish and interior, etc.

Note, there will be a big price differential between a 6cyl and a v8.
