The labor cost for replacing the 350 engine is around $230.
I'd do it for about $350 - both sides.
A 350 is a small block, Not a big block. And you can buy that engine new from GM. for about $2000.00
It may need oil? Or motor needs rebuilt.
F-350 6.0 Diesel - 2003 - new engine approx 17K long block with new turbo and add-ons. I rebuilt mine w/ new heads seals and guts for about 14K. I do not know about gas engines. I checked dealer +3 others, all about the same $$
The cylinder heads are diffrent. Intake from 1998 truck will not bolt up to 1990 heads.
depends on which 350 a regular carburated 350 new would be like 3000 a regular fuel injected would be about the same. the the lt1 and ls1 would be about 4-5000
Figure $350 for a rebuilt unit, $100-150 to install.
