automatic transmissions do not have clutches. If it is slipping it may need adjustment but probably will need to be replaced.
how do i take the fan cluch off a 89 ford ranger yo replace
How do you get into the cluch to replace it, the serial no. on our 4020 is R128822R
your cluch could be gone!
well its not good for the transmition, you should be using the cluck cause it cost about 2 grand to replace the transmition, if you dont want to deal with the cluch i prefure a automatic
Do you have the right tools for the job? Purchase the repair manual or alldata.
You put it in drive and press the gas. It drives just like a normal automatic transmission.
my cluch is lost pressure and the geare doest notwork even i have change the valve onbelow
Does the engine rev when you press on the accelerator? If it does check to make sure the emergency brake is not engaged. Is the car an automatic or a standard transmission? You have to make sure it is in gear.If it is a standard the problem is the cluch apparatus, pressure plate etc. If automatic you have to check the level of fluid in the automatic transmission.
This is a process that should be done by an experienced person. Would be a lot better to be shown how its done by someone who knows what their doing, not told how.
Because you may have a bad cluch swich. aka netrual saftey swich its really easy to replace its right behind the cluch petal a plastic peice with a big button with a wire attached to it this could be bad a way to test it is to put car in netrual to be safe do not push in cluch and start car if it starts that could cause your cruise to not work that means that the swich is bad because its there to insure you have cluch in so you dont take off in gear when you start your car and for other reasons aswell
you got to drop a transmition, my as well change the cluch at the same time, I belive it shows the steps in the Haines book,
Of course.
