A 1993 Mercury Capri (with the 1.6 4 cylinder DOHC engine) requires 3.2 quarts of oil.
According to specs its 11.1 gallons... but I can't typically get much more than 10 in mine.
11 us gallons
3.5 quarts that's what they say at advance auto anyway.
20.0 gallons for Mercury Villagers '93-'98.
4.5 quarts
The 4.0 L - SOHC - V6 engine that is used in the Mercury Mountaineer takes : 5 quarts ( 4.7 liters ) with oil filter change
4.2
You will not find an after market service manual for the 90-94 mercury capri from either Chiltons or Haynes. I have looked high and low...the Ford dealers in America don't even want to help out with anything connected to the 90-94 Mercury capri. They say a service manual is not avalible. After many days...weeks of research, I have found a web site that can help you out. www.techcapri.com They have downloadable material for servicing the 90-94 Capri. i got a factory service manual thru ford but took about 6 weeks and i had to do alot of the foot work for them.cost is a little over $100 will need a couple 3 ring binders to hold it all.but tells you anything and everything you want to know.
According to the 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis Owner Guide : With engine oil filter change : ( 6.0 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 engine oil )
inside the distributor its a black module with 3 wires on it , it is made of 2 peaces 2 screws hold it on useally the sytoms for a bad module are the care wont start the car i turns over the fuel pump works , there will be No SPark comming from the coil so don't be tricked by the coil not given spark, common reson why 91 to 94 Mercury capis wont start
set to desired station hold button for approx. 3-5 sec. until station flashes
Is this a trick question , because there wasn't a 1998 model year for the Mercury Cougar The 1997 Mercury Cougar , with the 3.8 liter V6 engine , has a ( 18.0 US. gallon tank The 1999 Mercury Cougar , with the 2.5 liter V6 engine , has a ( 15.4 US. gallon tank )
