r134a for a 2001 Ford Expedition
Which do i hook to to charge the freon in a 2004 ford expedition
The oil is in the freon along w/leak detector.
never use it
probably, i would guess so but i wouldn't try it until i was sure.
There is one valve that is used to add refrigrant. But you had better not add Freon. Freon is R12 and your vehicle's A/C system does not have Freon (R12) as a refrigrant. More than likely it uses R134a.
Yes since that is the proper type of freon.
The 1998 Ford Expedition owners manual shows : 6 quarts ( 5.7 liters ) WITH FILTER CHANGE
Excessive freon may cause the compressor to"slug" (Seize)
Yes
Aprox 30 oz.
The 2001 Ford Explorer A/C unit does not contain Freon (R12). Freon has not been used since 1995.
