depending on the chip you would get, a chip could add up to 20 horsepower. a cold air intake would add 7-10 hp at high RPMs. since the stock 02 gt has 260 hp, i would say 290 max. most likely around 280. nothing is exact unless it is dynoed but this is a close guess.
My 1971 Mustang fastback had a 351 cleveland 4 barrel and it was rated at (285 Brake horsepower ) It would depend on which engine you have
To me, I think the Shelby mustang would win over the camaro.Because the Shelby mustang has more horsepower that the camaro
not unless the transmission already comes with a clutch for high performance hugh horsepower builds it would be better to upgrade the clutch anyway
That would depend on what year it is , the 2010 Ford Mustang GT is rated at 315 horsepower
wow, not at all. the camaros have 275 horse power and the mustang has 260 horsepower. Camaro would blow the doors off of a mustang.
A high performance car is one that has high horsepower for its size. For example, a large SUV has high horsepower but is not high performance because it is large, where a small BMW is high performance because it is compact and also has lots of horsepower.
A GT intake will not directly bolt up to a V6 motor. While it is possible that the GT intake could be modified to fit, it would be more cost-effective to purchase an intake for a V6.
The amount of horsepower you gain from an aftermarket intake varies, on average though you will gain... 5 - 15 HP ...it is VERY rare to see over 15hp from an intake, if someone tells you otherwise I would be cautious.
Sounds like a blown headgasket or intake manifold gasket. Sounds like a blow intake gasket to me...It happened to My 86 Mustang and my 96 Lumina.
No it is not needed, yes usually a performance intake adds power, the real question is why would you run 1psi?
first you could buy a performance intake system such as a K&N cool air intake. second you could buy a performance exhaust system such as flowmaster, magna flow, and Gibson also would suggest performance headers with max air flow low resistance. there are more ways to but it involves a complete engine overhaul such as possibly boreing the cylinders to get bigger performance pistons, performance connecting rods, performance piston rings, performance ignition system, performance valves and springs, and also there is a chip for the computer for some models that will increase horsepower. those are just some ways of increasing horse power they are many more ways. consult a performance shop for recomendations for proper parts and procedures.
Installing an aluminum intake can potentially increase horsepower by optimizing air flow into the engine, but the effect will vary depending on the specific vehicle and its engine characteristics. Other modifications and tuning may be necessary to fully capitalize on the potential horsepower gains from an aluminum intake.
