I assume you mean the heater core? there are about 6 screws in the bottom of the heater inside the cab on the passenger side, remove the hoses from the engine compartment take the panel off of the bottom, be careful with the foam rubber on the panel, and it just pulls thru the firewall
yes
removal of heater hose from engine to fire wall
replace heater core in a 1991 Chevy work truck 1500
Think it's on the brake pedal close to the top
yeap, check autozone web site, its a good stuff
A 4L60E would not fit on a 91 Silverado because of the different dimensions.
No it will not the 1991 is a TBI and the 1998 is a vortec engine. They have 2 different Fuel Injection systems. You would have to change a whole lot of things to make it work.
Bad heater core.
It is located on the firewall right behind carborator.
No its not. 89-91 have a different plug than 92-94 some 91's have the newer needle style gauges with the tach and the older style plug but this cluster is rare.
Not a 1997 but close enough. http://www.ridelust.com/wisconsin-man-puts-1-million-miles-on-his-91-chevy-silverado-we-are-pretty-damn-impressed/
Because the wheel will rub / hit the front brake cailbers and rear drums. The 91 was built for 16 inch wheels, are bigger
