To charge the AC on a 1998 Jeep Wrangler, first locate the low-pressure service port, which is typically found near the accumulator on the passenger side. Ensure the AC is set to the maximum cool setting and the engine is running. Attach the AC recharge kit to the low-pressure port, following the instructions on the canister, and gradually add refrigerant while monitoring the pressure gauge. Once the desired pressure is reached, disconnect the kit and check for proper AC operation.
