To connect an amplifier to the radio in a 1996 Chevy Astro, first, disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical issues. Then, locate the radio harness and identify the speaker wires; you can use a wiring diagram specific to your vehicle for accuracy. Connect the amplifier's power wire to the battery, the ground wire to a solid metal point, and the speaker wires from the radio to the amplifier's input. Finally, connect the amplifier's output to the vehicle's speakers and reconnect the battery.
To wire an amplifier to a 2006 Chevy Cobalt factory radio, you'll typically need a line-out converter to tap into the speaker wires since the factory radio doesn't have RCA outputs. First, locate the speaker wires at the back of the radio and connect the line-out converter's inputs to these wires. Then, connect the RCA outputs from the converter to the amplifier. Finally, connect the power, ground, and remote turn-on wire from the amp, making sure to follow proper safety and electrical guidelines.
In my 1995 astro the radio is connected directly to the battery with a wire that is routed out through the drivers side door. So it always has power.
Try the installdoctor.com. Worked for me.
No, the radio has its own built-in amplifier. If you're not getting sound from ANY speakers, your radio is probably broken and needs to be replaced.
i replaced the steering column and the fuel filter. the radio was stolen
No. You buy a waring harness and connect it to the car wiring and the amp to the speakers there behind the radio.
The 2002 Nissan Pathfinder radio amplifier is contained in the radio. The amplifier cannot be separated from the standard radio.
yew put pew in your tt hoewl
You maybe able to order it from a Chevy dealer or find a junk yard in your area
In the radio, there is no other amplifier.

In my 2004 it is located on top of the radio. A real pain to get to. You have to remove the radio and alot of the AC stuff. Good luck.
