take grab handle cover off.remove screws.remove screws for door handle trim plate.remove screws on front of panel.remove screws on rear of panel(pop off screw covers and you will see screws).Pull out bottom of door panel.Gentle pry off tweeter up by mirror and disconn wire.Panel can come off enough so you can reach in and disconn window sw and door lite.remove panel.As best as you can peel off vapor sheet(its messy).Now you will see 2 blk plastic covers on sheet metal.pry them off.Disconn motor elec conn.Remove 3 nuts holding on motor.push motor to opening where you removed the larger plastic cover.You have enough room to turn motor and unscrew gear from old motor.Carefully pry gear away from motor.Put old mtr aside and attach gear to new motor.Push motor back up and reattch with the 3 nuts.Reconn elec conn.REvers procedure to reinstall door panel.Make sure all electrical conn are hooked back up.I did this on my 2003 tib and I believe 04 is same.
