its fun, i just replaced mine 97 1500. replacing the dis. cap and broke the screws off, 70 $ at autozone for a new one, the hold down bolt is at 10 oclock under the cap, you cant see it you have to feel for it, its a 1/2 wrench it holds on a c clamp remove that you have to realy work hard to pull the dist. out, just remember to mark the firewall on the position of the rotor button so you dont get it 180 out when you put it back in, now the bad part when you get it all back together it will run, drive it to a shop and get it timed you cant do it with out a computer, the cam angle sensor has to be adjusted, need the computer to do that, it cost me 80 dollars
