The ignition control module is mounted to the block of the engine. The coils mount to the ICM. Here's what I had to do on my 92. First remove the radiator fan. Remove the plug wires at the coils...number them if you aren't sure how they go back on. Next remove the starter....There's one bolt on the bottom bracket of the ICM that will be impossible to get to if you don't. I found it much easier to just take off all the wiring for the starter then unbolt it. It makes it much easier to pull the starter forward and down to get it out of the transmission. You'll need a 13mm socket....there's one bolt on the bottom of the bracket that you'll have to take off from under the car. Then two on the top...one on each side. Don't forget to unplug the connectors on the ICM. 2 on the passenger side, one on the driver side. Now you can remove the ICM and coils. Each coil is held on with two small screws. Remove each coil. Install is just the reverse. It sounds like a lot but it's really not that bad.
