If you have an automatic transmisssion, there are two lines that have to be removed. Relatively easy as there should be two clamps that have to be loosened and then the rubber line can be pulled off. Be sure to tie them up as tranny fluid with otherwise leak out.Allow the engine to cool, if necessary. Remove the radiator cap. Remove the passenger side splash guard from under the car. On the on the engine side of the radiator, near the bottom, on the passenger side, is a petcock bolt. Loosen this bolt to drain all the radiator fluid. Clean up any spills so no critters, human or otherwise, try to drink it or sue you cause it's on the ground. Disconnect the radiator fan at the wiring harness near the radiator on the drivers' side. Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses wherever it's easiest for you. (if they feel flimsy or too squishy or you even THINK they'll fail, replace them. If you lose a hose on the freeway that engine will overheat and warp the head faster than you will be able to stop the car. On that you can trust me). On top of the radiator there are two brackets that hold it to the car. Remove these. Don't worry about the bottom, there's nothing there to worry about. Just yank 'er out.

How do you replace the radiator on a 1991 Delta 88?

To replace the radiator on a 1991 Delta 88, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Drain the coolant by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator and then detach the upper and lower radiator hoses. Unbolt the radiator from its mounts and disconnect any attached components, such as the transmission cooler lines. Finally, install the new radiator by reversing the process, securing it in place, reconnecting the hoses, and refilling the coolant system.

To replace a radiator on a 1991 Thunderbird Super Coupe, a person has to drain the old radiator, then unhook all of the hoses. The radiator is bolted to the cross beam in the front and held in by bolts and screws along the sides and bottom. It is a good idea to take a picture of the old radiator and hoses to use as a reference when installing the new one.
