How to remove steering wheel on Chevy lumina 2000
Just to the right of the steering column, close to the fire wall. Remove both plastic panels beneath the steering column to be able to see it.
there should be a couple of bolts on the back side of your steering wheel that removes the front face and after you take that off there will be a large nut that will take off the rest of the steering wheel, but remember to disconnect the airbag before you remove the steering wheel cause you could set it off.
The 1995 Chevrolet Lumina dashboard is held in place with for retaining bolts and 12 retaining clips. Remove the retaining bolts and pry outward on the retaining clips.

You will need to remove the power steering pump belt in your 1997 Chevrolet Express. Remove the power steering pump hose. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pump.
Disconnect battery. Remove air bag. Remove bolt holding steering wheel to column. Use a steering wheel puller to remove wheel from column.
Remove the fuel tank. Mounted inside on the top of the tank.
