hi man,im in the same boat too. anyways, Hyundai say that they recommend the timing belt changed at 60,000and 90,000,and 120,000miles. ive read alot of stories about this and i guess it depends what year you have.2003-2007. these people really never changed it at 60,000 and it still on there.if it breaks it will destroy you engine. these cars come with a type of engine called "a interferance engine which means that if the timing belt breaks, it will cause extreme damage to the engine. if your at 60,000 miles right now, i would get it changed because Hyundai wouldn't recommend it for no reason.
