The Oil pressure sending unit for a V6 Dodge, is located on the front of the engine. It is located just to the right of the filter as you are looking at the van & just above the starter and is not easy to work on with the Starter in place. See link for a picture that shows the location on a 94 which is the same as a 92.
The Starter is located under the intake manifold. Nice place for it.
To change the starter on a 1989 Dodge Dynasty, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, locate the starter, which is usually positioned near the transmission on the engine block. Remove the electrical connections and the mounting bolts holding the starter in place, then carefully take out the old starter. Install the new starter by reversing the process—secure it in place, reconnect the electrical wires, and finally reconnect the battery cable.
First locate starter, once you've done that, then disconnect battery, go back to starter and lossen the 3 bolts that hold it in place, place with new starter hook up wires accordingly, then reconnect battery.
