No, there is nothing simple here. Just small hands, dis-connect the battery, and remove the panel where the head light switch is. When you reach underneath from behind, right on the switch, there is a little spring like button, when you press this the head light pull rod will come out. Now you can remove the switch, unplug the power supply, and replace the switch. When all that is done, just insert the head light rod, push it in and it will lock. Replace panel.
