My 96 sebring fills with water 3-4 inches when it rains are there any plugs how to avoid getting filled how do you remove water in a sebring convertible?
I have a '98 and had to take a thin flat screwdriver and place it in between the metal rails that are underneath the doors that run along the whole side. There are maybe 4 slots where the rails come together. Mine were clogged with dirt and debris so poking the screwdriver up in between the rails released the water and it has not had an issue since.

From what i have been told and read that means the pumb needs hydraulic fluid , it might have a leak in one of the lines.

But if you have a JXi Convertible, then the Fuel Pump Relay is in the Power Distribution Center, which is the large fuse box in the engine compartment. You can Google it to find a picture. It has a black plastic cover and is just to the right of the long row of terminal tabs. It is about 3 inches by 6 inches. It is located a little to the left of the Air Filter Housing. I assume the above answer was referring to the FUEL PUMP ITSELF, which is, indeed, inside the fuel tank, along with the Sending Unit and the Pressure Regulator.
