In the gas tank
addition to above answer, by SEBRING JXI DRIVE IS LOVE, Sept 9, 2008:
If you have a Sebring Coupe, I don't know if this answer applies. But if you have a JXi Convertible, then the Fuel Pump Relay is in the Power Distribution Center, which is the large fuse box in the engine compartment. You can Google it to find a picture. It has a black plastic cover and is just to the right of the long row of terminal tabs. It is about 3 inches by 6 inches. It is located a little to the left of the Air Filter Housing. I assume the above answer was referring to the FUEL PUMP ITSELF, which is, indeed, inside the fuel tank, along with the Sending Unit and the Pressure Regulator.
No
Drop the fuel tank
Chrysler does not use reset buttons.
No such part exists on a Sebring, the fuel pump is computer controlled with a relay. No such part exists on a Sebring, the fuel pump is computer controlled with a relay.

1997 chrysler sebring does not have a fuel cut off switch. Fuel pump is controlled by a relay located on the firewall right above the battery. Its on a bracket that holds 3 relays. The relay you are looking for is in the middle. Also called a auto shut down relay
It shuts down the voltage to the primary coil on the distributor, power to fuel injectors, and fuel pump also.
The fuel pump relay switch is the middle relay on the passenger side firewall. there are 3 unmarked relays. the middle one is it.
The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. The tank has to be removed to access.
