Hi, I had a commodore VR and one of the power windows did not work after awhile. It operated with a button on the middle console that leads to the electric motor for the winder? I had to buy a new button from Holden and it was connected by an auto electrican. I think it is about $100 au to buy the part then I had it installed. Aparently the buttons (electrics to the winder( wear out eventually. Not sure if this helps?
Check to see if you are getting power to the motor - if so motor is badIf not could be a bad switch or broken or disconnected wire

The ISBN of The Broken Window is 9781416549970.
No, if only the belt is broken, all you have to buy is the regulator, which runs approx $100 - $120. The power window Motor is a separate part that runs approx the same price.
check power going to the switch , and power coming out of the switch ,if no power check fuses and wiring for open or shorts , then remove door panel and bench test the motor basically put power to the window motor
Gear box has failed or scissor arms on lift mechanism for window are broken. More than likely the key, or pin for the gear is broken.
