Should illegal immigrants get driver license?

YES!
States have the right to issue driver's licenses to people who are in the United States illegally. However, some states do not give you this option.
This question is not is separate from the immigrations policy. It is argued that if undocumented immigrants get licenses, they will use them to work, travel, ect. ect. However, giving licenses to undocumented will not stop them from doing that anyways. Giving licenses should be a way to keep the road safe, being undocumented or not, having a drivers license is the only way to prove you are a safe driver and that you passed a written and behind the wheel test thus you are allowed to drive. There are thousands or even millions of undocumented immigrants who are not able to prove their capability to drive a vehicle safely in the United States. Instead the government gets MILLIONS of dollars from the undocumented immigrants who drive. If they were to get pull over for the most minor traffic law, they fist get their car taken away, (in California) they have to pay $200 to the Police department, they have to pay $1,200 to for having their car impounded for 30 days, and in court they have to pay a $600 fine for driving without a license plus whatever minor or non-minor traffic violation they were responsible for. Why would the state give them licenses? the government would much prefer to take advantage of them. In the United States there are MILLIONS of undocumented immigrants, kids who were brought here since they are small and grow up to find out they can't do what most Americans can do. America needs to fix the Immigration policy for those who are here, and spend most of their life in this country. Undocumented immigrants who work in the United state are not being a "burden". To contrary beliefs, undocumented immigrants DO pay taxes and outrageous fines and sometimes they do not get any of the benefits that they pay for.
