Good news is that the dealership will fix for free! Had my 2003 Yukon panel replaced a couple months ago. The dealers are well aware of this problem. In fact I got GMC notice mailed to me about 6 months before mine went out.This is a common problem with all the GM vehicles from 2000 to 2006 I had the same problem in my 2005 Yukon the speedometer went haywire at 89K miles.
