bad parking relay in motor
Just by pressing " P " again P - Wiper On/Off
the windshield wiper motor could be getting Hot! Mine does the same thing, then when it cools off they work again.
first remove wiper arms from vehicle next with ignition on, turn wipers on then off. the wiper motor will stop at the down position. replace wiper arms onto shaft ,in the correct down position where you want them. now with ignition on, try wipers again,to check if in the stop position you want them.
Oh, isn't that a happy little question! The fuse for the windshield wipers on a Toyota Corolla is usually located in the fuse box under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. Just like painting a beautiful landscape, take your time to gently locate the fuse, replace it with a new one if needed, and soon your windshield wipers will be dancing across the glass again. Just remember, there are no mistakes, only happy accidents!
I took a piece of electric wire and hook it to the motor of the windshield wiper and place it on any metal part of the car and it start working again someone told me that windshield wipers sometimes lt has to do with electrical ground . but any way it worked. loldianedj
you need to remove the blades, turn on the wiper motor let it go through the circulation then turn off the switch , this is to make sure the wiper motor was in correct position when they were installed then put them back on and try it again
If your problem is that your wipers are too low, or too high set on the windshield, you have to remove the cover at the base of the wiper arm, remove the nut, then pull up on the blade and take it off then reset it onto the spindle to readjust the height. Trial and error procedure, just check it after you reinstall it by turning on your wipers and seeing if they are set where you need them to be and go down to the desired location after they are turned off again. DO that for each one. Hope this does it for ya.
your windshield wipers are stopping/slowing because the small wiper motor, attached to the upper-right corner of the firewall under the hood, is going bad. This happened in my car. Another reason could be that your 11-year-old alternator is going bad...It doesn't matter if the alternator is giving out too much power or too little power, it effects the wipers in the way you described.
Remove the wiper arm from the base. Some use a screw, and or, are just pressed on to the Knurled base stud. You can pry it off by lifting up with a flat bladed screwdriver. Make sure that the wipers were turned to the off position, when the engine was turned off. Then with the arm removed, reposition the arm, so that the blade is again resting on the bottom of the windshield, and press the arm back onto the knurled stud. replace screw (if any), and your back in business, with the wipers in the right position, when shut down.
This answer is from my own past experiences. It is not guaranteed, but it has helped me and friends in the past. I have found that the wipers are sometimes incorrectly adjusted, somtimes due to years of use/adjustment slippage. The wiper motor drives the wipers with a drive arm. The actual wipers themselves are attached to this drive arm with a screw. If the wipers are hitting the park-stops on every wipe, the adjustment screw needs adjusted. Basically, turn the wipers off. Here is where it gets a bit tricky. The bottom part of the windshield, where the wipers recede, there may be a screw to open an access plate (probably plastic) where you can lower a nut driver (same as a screw driver, but with a socket end on it) and loosen the bolt below. God, this is hard to explain on a simple internet text message. Now, with the wipers off, and the screw loosened, manually move the wipers to their normally parked position, probably a very slight move. Now, lock that screw/bolt down. Tighten it and try the wipers once again. If the problem is still present, then the main bolt on the wiper motor itself needs loosened, repositioned, and tightened.
Does your car Perhaps have Delay Wipers must cars these days do you know.
Find the wiper control box. A black box behind the heat controls mounted to the firewall hit it with a hammer. Should get them to go again. Sounds stupid, but it gas worked in my 95 chevy g20
