I just did an intake manifold job on a 1999 5.7L suburban. The intake manifold to the heads, note this sequence....from front to back on the passenger side 7,1,3,5......from front to back on the drivers side 8,4,2,6. Tighten # Tighten the bolts on the first pass in sequence (1-8) to 3 N·m (27 lb in). # Tighten the bolts on the second pass in sequence (1-8) to 12 N·m (106 lb in). # Tighten the bolts on the final pass in sequence (1-8) to 15 N·m (11 lb ft). Use Loc-tite blue on these bolts and follow the above sequence and torque levels.
1996 chevy c1500 pick up 305 motor bolt torque spec intake manifold
The intake torque specification for a 1996 Ford Ranger typically ranges from 11 to 15 foot-pounds (15 to 20 Nm) for the intake manifold bolts. It's important to follow the proper torque sequence and specifications outlined in the vehicle's service manual to ensure even pressure and prevent leaks. Always verify with a reliable source or repair manual for the exact specifications based on the engine type.
the torque specs for the intake manifold are 115 inch pounds inch pounds to newton meter = mutiply .113 by the number of inch pounds aprox. 9.5 foot pounds
Remove the intake manifold retaining bolts from your 1996 Chevy Astro Van. Remove the manifold gasket and clean the surface. Reverse the process to install the new intake manifold gasket.
Haynes manual says 115 inch pounds- Start from center of intake using a criss-cross pattern, working your way to ends of intake.
i checked with my brother who is a a.s.e. certified mechanic. it is 11 ft-lbs be sure to chase the threads with a tap and die set, and use locktite. to much torque will ruin the gasket, and not enough will cause a manifold leak.
by hand :)

For the 1996 Saturn SL1 1.9 liter 4-cylinder, the torque in sequence one is 22 ft/lbs. In step two, torque in sequence to 37 ft/lbs. In step three, turn all the bolts 90 degrees and double check the final torque in the sequence.
your torque spec will be 65ft.lbs. Make sure you have the torque sequence too.
