Remove the intake manifold retaining bolts from your 1996 Chevy Astro Van. Remove the manifold gasket and clean the surface. Reverse the process to install the new intake manifold gasket.

It is inside the upper intake manifold. It is attached to the fuel injector poppets with a bracket. To inspect/replace you must remove the upper intake manifold.

I know there is a lower and upper manifold gaskets.I'm faced and with cruise control and fuel injection and I am a little aprehensive. But being out of options and low on funds due to uncle sam and cost of living increases and not alot of work I might have to take it on. Any help would be cool. I have been driving GM products for 30 years and have never had a intake manifold gasket blow.
Remove the cylinder had from your 1997 Chevy Astro engine. Remove the head gasket and clean the surface. Put the new head gasket on and reverse the process.

No transmission drain plug. You have to drop the pan, then replace the filter and gasket.
