Chrysler recommends using Mopar ATF +4, Type 9602. They also specifically state that Dexron III/Mercon is NOT recommended. Basically, you can/should use a semi-synthetic, or fully-synthetic transmission fluid.

P0700 means that you need to check the TCM for codes. Fluid and filter is not likely to help.
