To change a light bulb in the instrument panel cluster of your 1988 Chevy G20 van, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. In a 1988 Laser Meteor, the fuse for the instrument panel is typically labeled as "Instrument" or "Dashboard." You can find it in the fuse box, which is usually located under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. It's advisable to consult the vehicle's owner's manual for the exact fuse location and rating, as specifications can vary. If the fuse is blown, replacing it with one of the same amperage should restore power to the instrument panel.
