In an Aerostar, oil circulates through the engine's lubrication system. It lubricates moving parts, such as bearings and pistons, to reduce friction and wear. Some oil is also used for cooling, and excess oil is returned to the oil pan for recirculation. Regular maintenance ensures proper oil levels and prevents engine damage.
