The jack is located under the rear passenger seat. It is in a case that is bolted to the floor
I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty, jack is under the rear seat on passenger side.

Under the rear passenger seat.
should find jack in niffty little holder under rear pass. seat. held in with on hand screw.
I have had the same issue with my 02' Liberty, also. I did brakes a few times and jacked the Jeep up under one side of the lower control arm,and placed the jack stand right next to it, where the lower control arm meets the crossmember. Not the best location maybe, but it was hard to find a better spot, considering all the steel guards under there.LOL.

Jeep JackUnder the right rear seat. how do i get under the seat
The jack and tire iron in the Jeep Liberty is located under the right rear seat. There is a large knob, easily visible, when you look in that area. Turn it counterclockwise to release the jack and tire iron. On my car the knob is very hard to turn. It think this answer would apply to all Jeep Liberty's. In a 2007 Jeep Liberty, the flat tire jack is located in the rear cargo area. Specifically, it can be found under the floor mat or the removable cover in the trunk compartment. You may need to lift the mat or cover to access the jack and the spare tire tools.
